Tropical Storm Peilou exits PAGASA's monitoring area

Tropical Storm Peilou has exited the monitoring domain of PAGASA on Tuesday morning, the state weather bureau reported.

As of 8 a.m., PAGASA also said no other low pressure areas or tropical cyclones were being monitored.

Peilou remained outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility and did not affect the local weather.

The southwest monsoon (Habagat) is forecast to bring cloudy skies and rain over Luzon on Tuesday.

Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro will have occasional rains due to the Habagat as flash floods or landslides may occur amid moderate to heavy rains.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon while flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms. — VDV, GMA News
