RAINFALL ALERT: Orange in Bataan, Batangas, parts of Cavite, Zambales; yellow in Metro Manila (Tuesday, 8 p.m.)
An orange rainfall warning remains in effect in the provinces of Bataan and Batangas, and parts of Cavite and Zambales due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
In PAGASA’s 8 p.m. advisory, the following areas were placed under Orange and Yellow warnings:
Orange Rainfall Warning (Flooding is still threatening)

- Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, Botolan, San Marcelino, Cabangan, Iba, Palauig, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Felipe, San Narciso)
- Cavite (Alfonso, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Maragondon, Ternate, Indang, Mendez, Tagaytay)
Yellow Rainfall Warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)
- Metro Manila
- Pampanga
- Zambales (Candelaria, Masinloc, Santa Cruz)
- Tarlac (Camiling, San Clemente, Mayantoc, San Jose, Capas, Bamban)
- Cavite (Amadeo, General Trias, Silang, Trece Martires, Bacoor, Carmona, Cavite City, Dasmarinas, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Imus, Kawit, Naic, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza)
- Bulacan (Paombong, Malolos, Calumpit, Hagonoy, Pulilan, Plaridel, Guiguinto, Bulakan, Meycauayan, Marilao, Obando, Bocaue, Balagtas)
- Laguna (San Pablo, Alaminos, Calauan, Bay, Los Banos, Cabuyao, Calamba, Santa Rosa, Binan, San Pedro)
- Quezon (San Antonio, Tiaong)
Meanwhile, PAGASA said to expect light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Tarlac (Concepcion, Anao, Tarlac City, Gerona, La Paz, Paniqui, Pura, Ramos, San Manuel, Victoria, Moncada, Santa Ignacia) within the next 3 hours.
Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will also affect Rizal, Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, Pantabangan, Lupao, San Jose), Bulacan (Baliuag, Bustos, Pandi, Santa Maria, San Jose del Monte, Norzagaray, Angat, San Rafael), Quezon (General Nakar, Infanta, Real, Mauban, Lucena, Tayabas, Lucban, Sampaloc, Candelaria, Dolores, Sariaya, San Francisco, San Andres) and Laguna (Cavinti, Lumban, Kalayaan, Paete, Pakil, Pangil, Siniloan, Famy, Santa Maria, Mabitac, Liliw, Magdalena, Majayjay, Nagcarlan, Pagsanjan, Pila, Rizal, Santa Cruz, Victoria, Luisiana), which may persist within three hours and may affect nearby areas.
PAGASA advised the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned to monitor the weather conditions and watch for the next warning to be issued at 11 p.m. Tuesday. —LDF, GMA News
