Luzon, Western Visayas to see rains as Habagat prevails

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is prevailing over Luzon and Western Visayas, bringing cloudy skies and rains to affected areas, PAGASA said in its early Wednesday morning forecast.

Zambales will experience occasional rains, while Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, the rest of Central Luzon, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Antique will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon and Western Visayas will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast over Luzon and the western section of the Visayas.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:44 a.m., while sunset is expected at 6:12 p.m. —VBL, GMA News
