GMA Playlist welcomes the season with a new collection of music that explores love, remorse, and friendship, offering both heartfelt ballads from Sparkle artists and the official soundtracks of GMA Network’s values campaign, 'Ganito Tayo, Kapuso: Masayahin.' The campaign follows the journey of children engrossed in online gaming who, through their parents’ guidance, rediscover the joy of genuine connections. Its uplifting “masayahin” spirit is reflected in three tracks—"Ikaw Na Lang Ang Kulang," "Basta’t Magkasama Tayo," and "Atin ang Mundo." Kapuso singer Mitzi Josh takes the lead on "Ikaw Na Lang Ang Kulang," a song by Ann Margaret Figueroa that beautifully conveys the longing for true connection and the happiness that comes with companionship. Mitzi also teams up with Kim de Leon and Seb Pajarillo for "Basta’t Magkasama Tayo," composed by Figueroa and Joshua Gapasin, a lively track that celebrates the joy of togetherness. The collaboration extends to "Atin ang Mundo," performed by Kim and Seb, written by Figueroa and Kenneth Job Reodica, and mixed by Andrea Rae Culla. This anthem of empowerment captures the excitement of rediscovering the world through shared experiences. Adding emotional depth to the lineup, Sparkle’s John Rex, The Clash 2023 Grand Winner, lends his voice to "Kahit Wala Nang Tayo," the theme song for the GMA Afternoon Prime series Cruz vs. Cruz. Written by Roxanne E. Fabian and mixed by Harry A. Bernardino, the track reflects the turmoil of Neil Ryan Sese’s character Manuel, who struggles with the guilt of betraying his wife. “The lyrics narrate his deep regret and the enduring love that remains even after trust is broken in their marriage.” Another standout comes from Kim Perez with "Huling Hinto," a rock ballad composed by Rina Mercado and arranged by Roxanne E. Fabian. The song speaks of the painful moment of accepting that it’s truly over, paired with a plea for honesty from someone ready to let go. Kim’s heartfelt delivery brings raw sincerity to every lyric. The collaborations also include Kim de Leon and Seb Pajarillo's "Atin Ang Mundo," composed by Ann Margaret Figueroa and Kenneth Job Reodica, mixed by Andrea Rae Culla. The song is a vibrant piece about discovering the world with friends through shared experiences. Produced by Rocky S.
