The bodies of two unidentified men, believed to be salvage victims, were found wrapped in a blanket in Barangay Patitinan, Sagñay, Camarines Sur.
Passersby found the bodies and reported the same immediately to authorities.
The dead men were estimated to be between 35 to 45 years old. They have not been identified, as of this writing.
It was reportedly not the first time a dead body was found in that remote area in Sitio Rawis, Patitinan. Several dead bodies were reportedly found there in the past.
An autopsy revealed no severe wound or other injuries, except multiple bruises in various parts of the bodies of the deceased.
Authorities are not ruling out the possibility that these men were victims of salvage.
"Posible, dae ta po winawara yung mga anggulo na ganyan na inapon lang po dyan, kasi digdi po sa Sagñay mayo man kitang mga reported na nawawarang tawo, mayo kitang mga insidente," PMAJ. Michel Albania, Chief of Police in Sagñay, Camarines Sur, said.
Investigation into the incident continues, as of this writing.
The bodies will reportedly be subjected to another autopsy as there is a belief that they may have been given a substance that caused their deaths.
