A 38-year-old farmer was shot dead by a rider in Barangay Lower Salbo, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.
According to the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), the victim was riding his motorcycle on his way to Datu Unsay when he was followed by another rider whose motorcycle did not have a license plate.
Upon reaching the place of incident, the suspect shot the victim and fled.
The victim was declared dead on arrival at the hospital due to gunshot wounds in his body.
Authorities recovered 11 empty shells from an undetermined firearm.
Police are pursuing the suspect, as of this writing, while the investigation continues to determine the motive.
