A 15-year-old student was injured after he was allegedly punched by another student using a knuckle duster at a subdivision in Matina Aplaya, Davao City.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) said the victim reportedly intervened after witnessing another student being bullied in the area.
During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly struck the victim. The victim was injured in the shoulder.
The suspect fled the scene immediately but left behind the alleged weapon.
Police have launched a follow-up operation to locate the suspect, while barangay officials are verifying the suspect’s identity.
The victim was brought to a hospital for medical treatment and is now in stable condition.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
