Legendary Disney artist among the surprises at APCC

What a sensational weekend! The fourth Asia POP Comicon brought down the house with special apperances, immersive booths, exclusive screenings and previews, the launch of the Jollibee Funko Pop! Toy, and…the first-ever Hall D that Asia has seen.

Among the many presentations at Hall D – as in Disney – was the presence of legendary Disney artist Mark Henn. This is his first visit in Manila and immediately, he shared how he got started with the company, and his many adventures within it.

Mark told Unang Balita his first assignment was actually…Mickey Mouse! He then went out to supervise the many Disney princesses like Princess Jasmine, Princess Tiana, Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, and Mulan!

At Hall D, he boasted of his latest work: Wreck It Ralph 2, which “represents one of our first genuine sequels,” he said.

At the APCC, Hall M and Hall D featured two kinds of night vision cameras to secure all its exclusive screenings and previews at the event. — LA, GMA News
