Duterte calls female critics 'loka-loka', 'pangit'; Etta Rosales says stop

President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday referred to his female critics as "loka-loka" and "pangit", moving former Commission on Human Rights chairperson Etta Rosales to say he should stop his "non-sense ramblings" and work instead.

In a speech in Bacolod City for the Masskara Festival, Duterte quipped, "Hindi lang ninyo alam, loka-loka, kasi mga pangit kayo. Pati 'yung ngipin ninyo malalaki. Hindi ako maghalik sa inyo," Duterte said.

Earlier in his speech, the President said he had no hidden ill-gotten wealth, and challenged critics to spit on his face if his bank accounts proved otherwise.

"You can spit on my face. That is my guarantee. Bastusin mo na ako," he said.

Baka hindi pa ninyo naalala, I'm the only President — when I was mayor, I was a hostage victim," Duterte said.

He went on to tell the story of how he appealed to a kidnapper to release a kidnapped child and yaya (nanny) and take him instead. Duterte also said he killed those who raped and killed an Australian missionary who visited a Davao prison.

Rosales, chairperson-emeritus of Akbayan party-list, said Duterte's discourse is shallow.

"Mr. President, stop the non-sense ramblings. Araw-araw na lang. Magtrabaho ka naman," Rosales said. —KG, GMA News
