Discount site hooks up with Yahoo PH

Ensogo.com.ph, a social buying site that offers daily discounts on local goods, has signed a deal with Yahoo Philippines for a “deal link" in the latter’s home page. The Yahoo Philippines “deal link" will feature deals on Ensogo as seen on its website. In addition to this, deals of the day are highlighted through deal-specific listings, showing a more creative look into deals available for the day. Said Ensogo country manager Alejandro Cruz: “Social buying is now an integral part of e-commerce in the Philippines. Being featured on Yahoo Philippines will allow us to reach a wider audience and allow them to be a part of the growing number of users who have discovered the advantages of social buying." Ensogo, which stands for Entertain, Social and Go, is a Philippine social buying website. Apart from offering discounts, it also features a credit rewards program wherein customers are given back 3 percent of their purchases as Ensogo credits which they can use for future deals.
