The Adamson University Soaring Falcons shoot for their first win streak of the season while the De La Salle University Green Archers try to arrest their own two-game skid, when these two sides collide on Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Adamson forged an impressive 68-66 triumph over the NU Bulldogs last Saturday, using an 11-2 run to go up 68-63 with 1:37 left in the game, but they still needed to keep their fingers crossed in the final moments, as they waited to see if Robin Roño's potential game-winner would connect. Luckily for them, it didn't, allowing them to move over the .500 mark.

Making the win more impressive was the fact that they were able to triumph despite limited minutes from center Ingrid Sewa. The 6'9" bruiser logged just 17 minutes due to foul trouble and the aftereffects of a shoulder injury suffered in their loss to Ateneo. Still, he was able to produce six points and 13 rebounds, and no doubt, the team will be hoping he's closer to full health, as he'll likely be the guy they'll send to neutralize DLSU's Arnold Van Opstal.

DLSU on the other hand is reeling from the impact of two close losses, the latest coming at the hands of the UE Red Warriors, also last Saturday. Up four with 1:10 left in the game, the Archers succumbed to reserves Ralf Olivares and Dan Alberto, as they combined for an 8-2 run to take the win. Prior to that, versus FEU, the Archers lost in OT, as they could only manage two splits at the line versus eight points from the Tams down the stretch.

La Salle's woes at the foul line have long been part of their team. This season, they're shooting 53.8 percent from the stripe, but in actuality, that's a fraction better than Adamson, who are a mere 53.1 percent. The Archers will likely also press their ability to get up and down the court; they're norming 9.4 fast break points, second in the league, while Adamson is dead-last with just 7.0 in that category.

Game starts at 4pm.
