Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol is establishing herself as a true Beauty with a Purpose as she debuts her advocacy video on her social media and the Miss World website.

In the video, Gwendolyne shared the story of her mother's experience with the ERDA Foundation, a non-government organization that was founded in 1974 and “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.”

Gwendolyne also stressed in the caption that situations like her mother's happen all over the world, with UNESCO reporting 250 million out-of-school youth worldwide, with 7.9 million children in the Philippines deprived of education. She then called for collective action to address this through “the implementation of appropriate technology, increased investment, and sound policies.”
