Miss World Philippines

The Miss World Philippines organization continues to expand its reach.

Young women in Bukidnon who have long dreamed of becoming a beauty queen now have another avenue where they can pursue that dream as the Miss World Philippines organization announces a new franchise holder.

In a post on their official Instagram account, the Miss World Philippines organization announced that the province of Bukidnon is now an official franchise partner, with Miss B Productions and the Pelayo Group staging pageants and determining Bukidnon's delegate for the Miss World Philippines national pageant.

Just a couple of days ago, the Miss World Philippines organization announced that Olangapo City, Zambales, and Bataan now have their own Miss World Philippines franchise. In the caption to the post, the organization revealed that the RDM Talent and Pageant Circuit now holds the Miss World Philippines franchise for all three locations and will be able to stage pageants that will determine the locations' delegates for the Miss World Philippines national pageant.

These new franchise holders continue to expand the reach of the Miss World Philippines pageant. Back in September, the Miss World Philippines organization announced that Wilma Laude Zamore would be the local franchise holder for Cebu.

A month before that, the Miss World Philippines organization called for provincial directors and local franchise owners. The announcement was made on the organization's official Instagram account, with the caption noting that provincial directors will be tasked with handling the pageant's local franchise and help “empower more queens from different provinces.”

It was in that same month that MJV Mclelland was announced as the local franchise holder for Miss World Philippines Western Visayas. Representatives of the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental to the Miss World Philippines pageant will be picked from competitions organized by her.

The Pangasinan provincial government was also named as a local franchise holder for Miss World Philippines, with Limgas Na Pangasinan World winners representing the province in the Miss World Philippines pageant. The current Limgas Na Pangasinan titleholder, Nikhisa Buenafe Cheve, will be the province's official candidate to the upcoming Miss World Philippines pageant.

Winners from these different local pageants will succeed current reigning Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol, who has been drumming up support for the advocacies she supports through calls for donations to the ERDA Foundation, a non-government organization that was founded in 1974 and “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.”
