Hinikayat ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang mga pinauwing OFWs na nagtabaho sa construction sector sa Saudi Arabia na makibahagi sa idaraos na job fair sa Biyernes, October 25, 2019.
Sa pahayag ng DFA, sinabing gagawin ang job fair sa ganap na 9:00 AM hanggang 5:00 PM sa Apolinario Mabini Hall sa DFA Building, Roxas Boulevard sa Pasay City.
Mayroon umanong 16 na recruitment agencies ang magsasagawa ng paunang pasusuri sa mga aplikante para sa iba't ibang posisyon.
Mayroon din mga accredited companies ng Department of Trade and Industries tulad ng Whiteport Inc., DDT Konstract Inc., EEI Corporation, Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation, Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company of Manila Inc., Megawide Construction Corporation, D.M. Wenceslao & Associates Inc., D.M. Consuji Inc., at F.F. Cruz & Company, at POEA-accredited recruitment agencies.
“We continue to extend our hands to those repatriated OFWs, particularly the workers in the construction sector from Saudi Arabia who have been greatly affected by the tragic economic crises that closed down different construction companies in Saudi," sabi ni Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola.
Bukod sa paghahanap ng trabaho, magkakaroon din umano ng medical consultation at ipakikita ang mga programa ng gobyerno. --FRJ, GMA News
