Sinabi ng opisyal na itinaas ng Czech Republic ang kanilang "quota" sa mga Pinoy na nagtatrabaho sa kanilang bansa sa mahigit 10,000 pagsapit ng Mayo 2024, mula sa dating 5,000.
''The Czech government and the employers in the Czech Republic have seen how well the Filipino workers have adapted and how hard they work, and the productivity of the companies that have hired them has also gone up,'' saad ni Meñez.
Sinabi rin ni Marcos na nilagdaan ng Pilipinas at Czech Republic ang joint communique para palakasin ang kooperasyon ng dalawang bansa para sa ligtas at maayos na migration ng mga Filipino worker.
''The Philippines stands ready to cooperate with the Czech Republic in ensuring the protection of the rights and well-being of overseas Filipinos,'' anang pangulo.
Bukod sa usapin ng mga OFW, inaasahan din ang pagpapalago pa ng ugnayan ng dalawang bansa sa usapin ng kalakalan, na nagsimula umano noong nakaraang taon nang bumisita sa Pilipinas si Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
