Ladislao Diwa SpEd Program art contest, exhibit open to public on January 30

A gallery walk featuring the works of the Ladislao Diwa Elementary School's Special Education Program (SpEd) will be held at Ladislao Diwa Elementary School on P. Burgos St., Brgy. 20, Caridad, Cavite City.

Titled “Art is in the Heart,” the exhibit will open on January 30.

The walk will commence at 10 a.m., followed by an awarding ceremony at 11 a.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of the art contest and exhibit.

Mylene Solis Echenique will serve as the chairman of the board of judges, while Karen Toledo is the over-all coordinator for the Philippines.

The gallery walk is open to the public.

The project aims to raise awareness for the SpEd program of LDES and of public schools in general. It is spearheaded by friends of SpEd from Reno and the Philippines.
