Coldplay tickets too expensive? DTI has advice for netizens

Already thinking of drastic measures to afford VIP tickets to watch Coldplay live in Manila?

Before you make any sudden moves, know that the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) shares your opinion that the price is steep and the money you're trying to hustle for those tickets could go somewhere else.

Their message: "Okay lang 'yan kung 'di ka makapunta sa dream concert mo next year. Mag-negosyo ka na lang."

"Pang-puhunan din 'yung P22,500, bes," DTI stated emphatically, linking social media users to Negosyo Centers where they can pursue their passion projects instead of on a one-night-only spend.

In an optimistic tone, DTI added, "Malay mo, next world tour libre mo pa VIP lahat ng kabarkada mo."

Coldplay confirmed on Tuesday that Manila is an official stop of their "A Head Full of Dreams Tour" and ticket prices were released on the same day. The price ranged from P1,800 (GA) to P22,500 (VIP).

The tickets for the April 4 concert go on public sale November 24. —JST, GMA News
