Mother Kween reveals what will happen to Lloyd Cafe Cadena's YouTube channel

Lloyd Cafe Cadena's mom published a new vlog, where she answered questions from netizens.

Among the first questions asked was the fate of Lloyd Cafe Cadena's YouTube channel, which has nearly 6M subscribers and holds 563 videos.

"Yung channel ni Lloyd, wala nang magpo-post," she began.

"Walang magte-take over ng channel ni Lloyd. Panuorin niyo na lang yung mga lumang videos," she added. 

Last month, Google Philippines said the loved ones of a deceased content creator can request to access the account. And while Google can provide them content from the deceased user's account, the tech giant cannot provide passwords and other login details.

Lloyd passed away in early September, after testing positive for COVID-19 shortly before his death. Celebrities and vloggers all mourned his loss, with Michelle Dee unable to hold back her tears.  

In her Q&A, Lloyd's mom said fans will be allowed to pay their respects to the popular vlogger "after the pandemic, pag matapos na yung masoleum ni Lloyd, free kayong lahat bumisita sa kanya."

"I-update ko kayo kung saan siya," she added. "Wag kayo mag-alala, mag-get together tayong Cadenators."

Lloyd's mom said she's suspended any repairs or upgrades to their house, as the family is observing the 40 day-mourning period.

"After 40 days, itutuloy ko na mga plano ni Lloyd sa baya at ia-update ko kayong lata," she said.

She clarified that while their house is fully paid, she still needs to attend to their interiors, garden. "Kung among gusto ni Lloyd sa bahay, yun na lang yung unti-unti kong tuparin." — LA, GMA News
