Who could forget the young Filipino boy who was singing Sam Smith's "Too Good At Goodbyes" in a public karaoke like no one's business?
The singer's post about the phenomenal kid is this year's top retweet and most liked tweet in the Philippines, according to Twitter.
"WHO IS THIS KID!!!!!? YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE," Smith wrote.
The viral singer turned out to be Carl Montecido aka Steven Clarcson. He hails from Bacolod and he was actually among the top 64 finalists of the second season of GMA's singing competition "The Clash."
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras," Smith said they would love to do a duet with Carl if there would be an opportunity.
"He is incredible. He is a better singer than I am. I’ll be so scared singing with him. He’s unbelievable," they said.
