Pia Wurtzbach 'kilig' over fans still engaging with her 2015 'ako bahala' tweet prior to Miss Universe win
It's been years, but Pia Wurtzbach's "ako bahala" tweet still resonates with many people.
On Twitter, the beauty queen said that she still "gets kilig" when netizens engage with that particular post.
To recall, Pia had tweeted, "Kalma lang guys. Ako bahala. Babawi tayo sa Miss Universe!" in 2015, after Manny Pacquiao lost his match to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
And months later, the universe listened. Pia was crowned Miss Universe 2015, 40 years after the crown last came home to the Philippines.
Almost eight years later, Pia got a little sentimental over the now-famous manifestation tweet.
Midnight thoughts...I still get kilig when you guys engage with my "Ako bahala. Babawi tayo sa Miss Universe" tweet from 2015. Thank you for believing in me. ????

“Thank you for believing in me,” she said.
Queen P had a follow-up tweet and gave some much-needed encouragement to her followers.
“[If] there's anything I want you to learn from this—it's that if something is meant for you, as long as you put in the work, nothing can stop you,” she said.
“Muntik pa nga ako ma-draw 'di ba?” Pia added, referencing pageant host Steve Harvey’s fumble in announcing the Miss Universe 2015 winner. “But we did it. YOU can do it. Trust your heart.”
Just a pahabol to this, if there's anything I want you to learn from this - it's that if something is meant for you, as long as you put in the work, nothing can stop you. Muntik pa nga ako ma-draw 'di ba? But we did it. YOU can do it. Trust your heart. ???? https://t.co/17Gqv1EwgR
