David Licauco reminds followers: 'Be careful what you put out on social media’

David Licauco took to social media to remind his followers to think before they click.

On Sunday, the Kapuso actor wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Be careful what you put out on social media. You never know what a person is going through,” followed by three smiling emojis.

Soon after, he followed his post with another one that read, “Respect.”

Netizens quickly assumed that his cryptic post was about his love team with Barbie Forteza and all the issues that come with it, but a few others thought it was just a general reminder for his followers.

As of writing, his post has already generated more than 474K views and has been reposted nearly 900 times.

In previous reports, David said he is good friends with Barbie’s boyfriend, Jak Roberto. He even poked fun at Jak’s “Anti-Silos” University, saying he also has his version, which is David Licauco’s Selos University.

Meanwhile, Jak said he feels sad when shipping wars between him and David escalate.

"Nakakalungkot lang po kasi may mga comments na parang pine-personal na. Minsan nakakapagsabi na ng hindi magandang salita," Jak said.

David and Barbie are set to make a primetime comeback as love interests in the series remake of “Maging Sino Ka Man.”
