Rabiya Mateo literally makes a splash at Miss Universe poolside shoot
Rabiya Mateo is definitely making a splash ahead of the 2020 Miss Universe pageant in Hollywood, Florida.
New video clips shared by the official Miss Universe Instagram page show the Filipina beauty queen having a fun photoshoot with fellow contestants at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, where the pageant will be held this May 16.
Rabiya, who was looking fresh and stylish in a pink playsuit and bucket hat, was also seen dancing alongside the contestants by the pool.
Ah but on Instagram Stories, we learn that Rabiya accidentally fell in! Ever so graceful, she remained all smiles, even posing with a peace sign.
"I accidentally fell in the pool," Rabiya said in another Story. "I got half of my outfit wet, and then I almost lost my diamonds!" she added.
Thankfully, the diamonds are safe. In her personal Instagram account, Rabiya posted an update, saying, "the diamonds. You have nothing to worry about," as she showed them sparkling from her ear.
Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo has been slaying it, outfit-after-outfit, at the pre-pageant activities since she arrived in Florida last month.
She most recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at a shoot wherein she wore a blue dress and struck a pose by the waterfalls.
The Ilongga beauty queen has also been wowing netizens with her recent photoshoots, and earned tons of online votes early on in the competition.
