Fans admire Rabiya Mateo, Miss Thailand's 'holding hands' moment at 69th Miss Universe

Rabiya Mateo and Miss Universe Thailand Amanda Obdam served as each other's hand to hold after the 69th Miss Universe pageant and fans are all up for it!

On Twitter, several photos of the two beauty queens holding hands after Miss Universe Mexico Andrea Meza's crowning moment circulated online.

According to the posts, they can't help but admire Rabiya and Amanda's friendship.

"Even with intense silent rivalry between these two countries in the world of pageantry, the friendship between Philippines and Thailand will always be there," a tweet read.

"The best thing that I've seen today is Thailand and Philippines are holding hands," said another.

In a previous interview, Rabiya revealed that Thailand is the country she wants to visit first once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

Rabiya bowed out of the competition early after failing to earn a spot at the 69th Miss Universe pageant's Top 10. Amanda, meanwhile, finished at Top 10.
