#PINNED: Learn these 9 iconic BTS lines only ARMY would understand

As we stroll back to memory lane, we have prepared a fun list of BTS vocabulary words only ARMY would understand.

#Pinned makes it easier for young Filipinos to discover meaningful and enriching content and stories that will help them separate music from the noise, wheat from the chaff, and flowers from the weeds.

All our stories are written by young creatives who made it their life mission to know everything there is to know about how fellow young adults can make the most out of their limited down time every day, every week.

Happy ARMY Day! Are you still okay after that Permission to Dance music video premiere? We might have shed a tear or two, and needed a little breather before writing this article for you.

Whether you are a veteran or baby ARMY, you will want to be updated with the band’s every move, even phrases that might go viral later on. As we stroll back to memory lane, we have prepared a fun list of BTS vocabulary words only ARMY would understand.

This will definitely give you the good vibes you have been looking for the whole week!

1. Jimin, you got no jams

President RM has spoken! BTS’ spokesperson slash leader gave Jimin an English lesson with a phrase that loosely translates to “you are not funny,” but we will take RM’s version any day.

2. I know her face, but I don’t know her name

The K-Pop group’s ‘golden maknae,’ Jungkook, is a total mood during this Access Hollywood interview. He could not identify the name of his celebrity crush, but only her face—he is pretty much channeling his international playboy vibe.

3. I’m worldwide handsome, you know?

Jin, the ‘hyung’ or older brother of the group, is giving us the confidence we need. If we were as confident as him, we would be living life as happily as possible. Check this compilation of our WWH (worldwide handsome).

4. I’m good boy

With his charming personality and bearcub-like looks, the ARMY thought that it was appropriate to call BTS member V the good boy of the group. We think that the nickname resonated well during an interview with late night talk show host, Stephen Colbert.

5. Lajimolala

If you did not know, you could binge watch the variety show Run BTS! where Jimin reigns as king during the whisper challenge. What is it really? Carbonara? Tony Montana? Or lajimolala?

6. International Pop K Sensation Sunshine Rainbow Traditional Transfer USB Hub Shrimp BTS

Can you please repeat that? Suga was all hyped up after strangers started to recognize them in Hawaii, and decided to come up with a new nickname. We do not really know what it means, but it still stands until this day.

7. I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m…

J-Hope is a ray of sunshine that brings a lot of energy on stage. He chose his stage name during BTS’s difficult trainee days as a reminder—through his name, he wishes to radiate hope for themselves and for ARMY to never give up.

8. Apobangpo

Apobangpo means ARMY forever, Bangtan forever. Another term coined by our Jungkookie during one of his fan chats with ARMY back in 2019.

9. Borahae

Did you know that the word Borahae actually started with V? It means ‘I purple you’, but for us, it simply means I love you. It is a word ARMYs will cherish forever. Watch V explain how he thought of the iconic line.

Wasn’t that fun? You probably love BTS even more or have fallen in love as you saw how quirky and relatable they can be.

Let us know your favorite line and others that we might have missed out. Plus, do not forget to stream Permission to Dance! Borahae!
