Heart Evangelista dedicates piano performance to Barrio Fiesta’s late guitarist

It’s a Throwback Thursday for Heart Evangelista!

On Instagram, the Kapuso Global Fashion Icon shared a video of herself playing "Somewhere in Time" on the piano.

According to Heart, it was Barrio Fiesta's long-time guitarist, the late Boy Segarra, who taught her how to play it.

“This is dedicated to Sir Boy Segarra, our long-time guitarist in Barrio Fiesta, who taught me this piece when I was 7 years old,” she wrote in the caption.

“You are missed," Heart added.

The video also included snippets of Heart unboxing a massive Dior package, with her voiceover reading pages from her diary. 

She called the whole performance — piano, VO, and video — "Uniqua."

In case you didn’t know, Heart is of the Ongpauco family, who owns the Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants.

In 2021, Heart treated Netflix’s “Bling Empire” cast to Filipino food in Barrio Fiesta’s branch in California.

The Fashion Icon, who is clearly steeped heavily in the arts, is also an accomplished painter.
