Gehlee Dangca, formerly of K-Pop group Unis, to release solo single 'Closer' this October

Gehlee Dangca just made an exciting announcement—she is releasing her first-ever solo single!

The artist made the announcement on Instagram. The song is titled "Closer" and it drops on October 23. Pre-saves are now available.

Gehlee was one of the Filipino members of the K-pop girl group UNIS, along with Elisia Parmisano and Filipino-Korean Hyeonju.

They disbanded on September 26. Following the announcement, Gehlee expressed her gratitude to the group's fans, EverAfter, on Weverse.

Soon after, Gehlee announced that she would return to the Philippines for solo work and studies.

She launched an X account early this month.

UNIS, which also included Nana, Kotoko, Yunha, Yoona, and Seowon, debuted in 2024. Some of their songs were "Superwoman," "Curious," and "Swicy."

Their latest single " Milky Way " served as a final letter to fans.
