Organization in QC holds daily feeding program for displaced LGBT workers

LGBT volunteers have been holding daily feeding programs to help out displaced workers in their community in Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.

Donna Canlas, the president of the LGBT Pasong Tamo Federation, said that their group started the program last March.

Wala kami magawa so nagpaalam kami sa barangay mag-feeding program, magbigay ng gulay," she said.

She added that due to lack of resources, there would be times when the funding for their feeding program would come out of their own pockets.

And because transportation was a struggle, the volunteers would walk just to get to the areas who needed food.

To date, they've managed to reach many different areas in the barangay already and have offered food not only to LGBT members, but also to the other people in the community.

For those who would like to help out, you may message the LGBT Pasong Tamo Federation at 09095456008.
