Pia Wurtzbach poses with adorable kitten in magazine photoshoot
Pia Wurtzbach is in her cat lover era!
On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2015 shared a story on how Lucas, a kitten adopted by her cousin Charity, changed her perspective about felines.
She got so close to the adorable fur baby and they even posed together for her magazine shoot with Cosmopolitan Philippines.
"Never in my life did I imagine that I would like cats," the beauty queen said.
Pia said she used to be afraid of cats because she never experienced having one around during her childhood.
"Even in my adult life, whenever I'd visit friends who had cats, I would always be so nervous touching, petting, carrying them... because I didn't know how!" she said with a laughing face emoji.
Pia said her attitude about cats changed when Charity, who works closely with her, adopted the gray kitten Lucas.
"We're also neighbors and so Lucas would always come over to visit," she said. "Lucas is playful, malambing and so sweet with my pamangkins Lara and Logan."
Pia was also surprised about how easy it is to take care of a cat.
"You only have to teach them once where the cat litter is, and that's it. Automatic na," she said. "They're independent, don't need constant attention, and have simple joys in life."
Towards the end of her caption, Pia admitted she is now a cat lover convert.
"I adore this cat so much. We love you, Lucas!" she said.
Last year, Pia told her husband, Jeremy Jauncey, that she wanted to have a cat after a cute encounter with one.
In March, Pia and Jeremy got married on an exclusive island in Seychelles.
Pia published her first ever novel titled "Queen of the Universe" in September. The book will also be released internationally in November.
