Bretman Rock holds a Filipino-style funeral for his pet chicken One

Bretman Rock is mourning the loss of his chicken pet, One.

On Sunday, the Filipino-American content creator shared the sad news on Instagram through his Instagram Stories and a reel dedicated to One.

"RIP One," Bretman wrote in the caption. "You are the best! I can't wait to dance with you again."

According to Bretman, his chicken died in his hands after he noticed something was wrong with him, but he decided to look on the bright side and look back on the beautiful life One had with him.

"He was literally living, he loved all his siblings, and I'm glad I gave him the best three weeks of his life as best as I could," he said.

To celebrate One's life for the last time, Bretman held a funeral in his garden in the best Filipino way possible: with a karaoke.

"Is it even a Filipino funeral without karaoke?" Bretman wrote in the caption.

Bretman has been enjoying taking care of his chickens at home. Previously, he shared a trick on how he calls his chicken's attention using a karaoke mic.

In September, he gave one of his chickens a makeover using conditioner and food coloring.

Aside from chickens, Bretman also has pet turtles named after two Filipino comedians, Mahal and Mura.
