Michael Sager, Sean Lucas try out pottery in 'Boyfriend 101' pilot episode
Michael Sager and Sean Lucas had a fun first episode of their new online show, "Boyfriend 101."
Posted on Michael's YouTube channel, they started the episode by saying the goal of the show is to ask the question, "What does it take to be a better partner?"
Michael and Sean said they are not the ideal boyfriends, but they strive to be.
The first episode of the show saw the duo at Wabi Sabi, a pottery studio in Pasig City. They were taught basic pottery.
Michael and Sean said that the lesson taught them about attachment, detachment, being careful, starting over, and taking things slow, which are also needed in relationships.
The actors also made mistakes along the process of making their bowls, but they just laughed it off.
"This is harder than I thought bro," Michael said.
"'Kala ko makakasalita ako pare, pero kailangan nito 110-percent focus," Sean said.
Michael also said he understands why couples enjoy pottery.
"It's relaxing and you get to test each other on their patience," Michael said.
Meanwhile, Sean said that pottery taught him how to be a better boyfriend.
"It's really about what goes into building something that is worthwhile," he said. "Things that are worth it, parang they don't come easy."
"When you look into somebody's relationship, it seems so simple. They're just together, they're happy, but there's so much going into it," Sean added.
Michael said there's a lot of steps when building something.
"Kumbaga, you can't miss out on it," he said. "From the start, if we don't build it up properly, you have to start with foundation."
Michael and Sean starred together in the GMA horror film, "Huwag Kang Titingin."
Michael currently stars in GMA Afternoon Prime series "Born to Shine," while Sean co-hosts "The People Have Spoken" with Heart Evangelista.
