7 SB19 songs that show the P-pop Kings' incredible range

SB19 are called the Kings of P-Pop for a reason.

True to their name, Sound Break, the group refuses to be placed inside a box or stick to a single formula when it comes to their music.

Throughout their career, SB19 has been unafraid to experiment with various musical styles and genres. Just look at "MAPA" and "GENTO," two of their most popular songs: they are as different as night and day.

As the group prepares for their historic Lollapalooza set on Friday (Manila time), GMA News Online went over their discography for seven tracks that showcase their incredible range as artists.

1. 'Quit'

The P-Pop Kings transformed into rakistas in the song "Quit." Composed by Ken and with lyrics written by him and Pablo, the song went hard with electric guitar riffs and loud drum beats.

Its emotional message of refusing to quit on yourself despite hardships made it a fan-favorite, and it made plenty of A'TIN cry during the Simula at Wakas world tour kickoff in Bulacan in 2025.

2. 'I Want You'

SB19 showed that they can be seductive in "I Want You." The R&B track allowed the members to flex their not only smooth vocals, but also a mature side of them as they sang about wanting someone so passionately. The group performed a sexier take on the song, called "ovulation version" by fans, during the Simula at Wakas kickoff concert.

Its music video was also a work of art, expressing the sensuality with closeup shots of the members layered with scenic images, with water as a unifying motif.

3. 'Kalakal'

In "Kalakal," SB19 proved that every single one of them has the skills to rap, even their vocal line. The hip-hop track was a collaboration with rap legend Gloc-9, who performed the second verse with his signature speedy bars.

The song, which carries a strong message of defiance against haters, has a clever music video that displays the "merchandise" the SB19 has to offer, from the group's EP to the members' solo releases and interests.

4. 'WYAT'

SB19 hopped on the modern disco trend with the funky single, "WYAT" or "Where You At." Released during the pandemic, the danceable song is about the reconnection of bonds and enduring hardships together.

5. 'Crimzone'
