Is Kimson Tan allowed to date a non-Chinese woman?

If you're into chinito guys, Sparkle star Kimson Tan may just be your type!

The 24-year-old actor is a proud Filipino-Chinese, having landed a role in a Singaporean film due to his ability to speak in Mandarin and Fookien.

But if you don't have Chinese blood, is he allowed to date you? We know that some Chinese families prefer to date or marry into their own community, a phenomenon known as the "Great Wall."

"Kapag po traditional ang family, ganon po talaga," Kimson admitted on Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

The good news is in his own family, the ethnicity does not matter when it comes to looking for a partner.

"Sila mama, as long as I am happy, 'We will support you,'" he said.

And the best news? Kimson is currently single!

Kimson recently starred in "Lovers/Liars" and "Voltes V: Legacy." He also appears in the sitcom "Open 24/7."

"King of Hawkers," his Singaporean film, premieres this month.
