Tom Rodriguez on his prayer for Carla Abellana, finding love again

Tom Rodriguez is now fully healed over two years after his separation from Carla Abellana.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the King of Talk daringly asked Tom about his prayer for his former wife.

"I really wish her well. Everyone of us deserves happiness and I really wish that for her," he answered.

Tom and Carla were in a relationship for seven years before they got married in 2021. However, the couple split shortly after their wedding and eventually got divorced.

The Kapuso actor then spent the last two years in the United States to be with his family. He recently returned to the Philippines to resume his showbiz career.

As for his love life, Tom previously said he is seeing someone and that he is ready to fall in love again.

He also said that he now knows for sure that true and unconditional love does exist.

"When I went through that healing process, that wasn't even in my mind. But I do believe that love does find you when you're ready for it. And when it found me I thought my doors would be closed forever," he said.

"Hindi pala because I'm experiencing it again now. And it's something that I will treasure and cherish and really do my best to really protect," he added.

Tom said he has learned to put up healthy boundaries when it comes to making his relationships public.

"This time around I'm gonna keep it for myself and those people that are very important to me," he said. "OK na kami, kaya sorry na nagdadamot ako Tito Boy. I really wanna keep it close to the heart this time around."

The actor recently a guest appearance on "All-Out Sundays" and got back into acting in an episode of "Magpakailanman."
