Heart Evangelista personally delivers wheelchair to elderly woman
Despite the threat of COVID-19, Heart Evangelista personally delivered a wheelchair to an elderly woman who is unable to walk after suffering a stroke.
In her recent vlog, the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations visited the woman's home in Sorsogon and met her family.
Heart is even seen helping the woman get into the wheelchair and taking her out for a stroll in the neighborhood.
“Because of her stroke, she can’t walk anymore and, because she has no wheelchair, she's just lying down most of the time," Heart explained in the video.
"So it would be nice to give her a wheelchair so she can go under the sun and it will be easier for her grandchildren to take care of her," she added.
Heart also posted a photo with the woman on Instagram earlier this month, saying she plans to give out more wheelchairs to people who need them.
Heart recently returned to Sorsogon Province after months of staying in Metro Manila due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
As seen in her vlog and Instagram posts, she reunited with her husband, Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero and went around the province to extend help to some of the residents amid the COVID-19 pandemic and discover Sorsogon's gems. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
