Beauty Gonzalez shares how she stays being a fit, beautiful, and cool mom

First-time motherhood is no joke, but Beauty Gonzalez has got it in the bag.

During her morning chikahan with "Unang Hirit" on Thursday, the Kapuso actress said she has been spending as much time bonding with her daughter Olivia as possible, especially since she's doing a lock-in taping for a new GMA series soon.

"Just always being together and ready to listen kasi mawawala nanaman ako for a month so lagi na lang ako tutok sa kanya," she said.

However, Beauty also stressed how important it is for moms to take care of themselves, especially with the pandemic.

"Just eat the right food, and a lot of prayers. Joke!" she said, laughing.

"You just exercise and just have enough sleep. And you know, as you get older importante talaga, you feel lighter about yourself... And diet! With this pandemic talaga, you have to start eating healthy," she explained.

Beauty said she tries to be a "cool mom" not only for herself, but for her family as well.

"Dapat you do something for yourself also, so that you can give love to the people that you love," Beauty explained.

"And I guess that helps me to be a cool mom, because I get to do what I like and makikita niya na nae-enjoy ko and gagawin niya rin niya sa 'kin." she added.

Beauty Gonzales is married to businessman and art curator Norman Criosologo, with whom she has a daughter named Olivia.

The actress officially became a Kapuso after signing a contract with GMA Network last month. She has been confirmed to star in an upcoming GMA series. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
