SB19 hits No. 2 spot on Billboard social chart, No. 6 on emerging artists

Filipino boy group SB19 hits new peaks this week on the Billboard charts as it reaches the No. 2 spot on Social 50 and No. 6 on Emerging Artists charts.

Billboard shared the lists on its Twitter account Tuesday, with South Korean giant BTS leading the K-Pop dominated social chart for a record 191 weeks.

SB19 has been on Social 50 for 34 weeks and Emerging Artists charts for 22 weeks now. The group is so far the only Filipino act to land on the social chart.

On their Twitter account, SB19 members celebrated the achievement and thanked their fans.

“A’TIN maraming salamat! Basta lagi niyo tatandaan na kayo yung lakas namin kaya tumatapang at nagiging matatag kame,” said group member Stell.

Salamat sainyong lahat!” he added.

SB19 released last month their first full-length album, “Get In The Zone,” which features the hits “Go Up” and “Alab.”

The group, which debuted in October 2018, is composed of members Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin.
