Ben&Ben sings acoustic version of 'Di Ka Sayang' in BBTV special episode

Ben&Ben may have officially ended the first season of its BBTV series on YouTube, but a special episode dropped on Wednesday.

The OPM band talked about the back story of their new single "Di Ka Sayang" and how it was personal for each of them.

Miguel Benjamin, for example, shared that many questioned his decision to pursue music after studying for five years.

"Ang daming nagsabi nung simula na, 'Alam mo sayang ka kasi nag-aral ka pa naman. Bat di ka na lang mag-apply ng trabaho na ano para secure 'yung future mo? Ano banda-banda ka na lang?''" he said.

Ben&Ben also reflected on their journey so far as a nine-piece band while traveling in a car and jamming to their songs "Pagtingin," "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay," and "War."

"Mahirap lang to imagine the possibilities of the dreams that we're trying to achieve when we're really starting out and grinding it," Miguel said.

"It's really hard to fight for what you believe in and fight for your dreams. But you just have to," he added.

The band ended the episode with an acoustic performance of "Di Ka Sayang" after getting off from the car. —MGP, GMA News
