Rupert Grint admits to only watching the first three 'Harry Potter' movies
He may be the iconic Ron Weasley, but apparently, Rupert Grint hasn't actually watched most of the "Harry Potter" movies.
The English actor told Variety that he stopped watching after the third installment of the highly popular film franchise, which was based on the books of J.K. Rowling.
"I’ve probably seen the first three at the premieres, but after that I stopped watching them," he said.
But that doesn't mean he won't ever watch them — especially now that he's a father to a baby girl with girlfriend Georgia Groome.
"Now that I have a daughter, I will probably have to watch them with her," he said.
According to the report, Grint doesn't expect to be part of the "Harry Potter" series being developed by HBO Max.
"It’ll be weird if it was a continuation kind of thing. I weirdly feel quite protective of that character. Even when I saw the stage shows, it was a very strange experience. If it’s like a different group of friends, I guess it would be interesting," he said.
Grint and Groome, who have been together since 2011, welcomed their first daughter in May last year.
