A ‘Crash Landing on You’ musical is in the works!

“Crash Landing on You” is set to return as a musical in 2022!

According to a Soompi report, production companies Pop Music and T2N Media have signed the global publication rights with Studio Dragon.

“We plan to start choosing the main staff and begin casting. We will do our best to create a good project,” said Kim Jin Seok, CEO of Pop Music.

The poster released showed a piano and pieces of luggage placed on a wooden path by the sea.

In the K-drama, the piano was used in Switzerland by main character Ri Jung Hyuk, played by Hyun Bin.

“Crash Landing on You” follows a unique story between individuals from North and South Korea who prove that love has no borders.

It also stars Hyun Bin’s real-life girlfriend Son Ye Jin, who played Ri Jung Hyuk’s love interest Yoon Se Ri.

In February 2020, the series became South Korean channel tVN’s highest-rated show.
