Rabiya Mateo is going home!

On Wednesday, the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 was seen on the Instagram stories of Filipino-American beauty expert Olivia Quido, saying she was excited to go back home.

“See you, Philippines,” said Rabiya, adding that she couldn’t wait to see her mom. “I’m going home. Mahal ko kayo, Philippines.”

The video updates showed her spending time with friends at a restaurant before heading to an airport.

On her Instagram, Rabiya said she would be taking videos of her last day and sharing it a week later on her YouTube channel.

“Just a few hours before I go home and I’ll vlog the spots where I’ll go here in the US and I also want to show you the process of going back home,” she said.

The Ilongga beauty queen posted a selfie last week to announce that she would be going home soon.

On Tuesday evening, Rabiya grabbed dinner with Hollywood director Cyrus Nowrasteh, who made the film “The Young Messiah.”

Rabiya flew to Florida to represent the country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant held in May. Mexico’s Andrea Meza won while she exited the competition as part of the Top 21.

After the pageant, Rabiya went to do some solo traveling. Based on her account, she visited locations like Los Angeles, San Jose, Napa Valley, and New York City. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
