After making its worldwide premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival, Erik Matti's "On The Job: The Missing 8" will start streaming on HBO Go this September.
On Sunday, the "On The Job" series officially dropped on the streaming platform with the 2013 film divided into two to serve as its first episodes.
Starring Gerald Anderson, Piolo Pascual, and Joey Marquez, the series will feature an extended version of the film with never-before-seen footage.
In a recent online interview with the press, Matti revealed that some of the actors will be coming back for the sequel, such as Rayver Cruz and Marquez.
"The end of episode 2 and start of episode 3 connects directly from each other," he said.
Earlier Sunday, Arcilla bagged the Best Actor award at the film festival for his role as Sisoy Salas, a journalist who defends the government until it affects his loved ones.
