Taguig's Katrina Dimaranan is Missosology's final pick for Miss Universe Philippines 2021

Katrina Dimaranan is Missosology's final hot pick for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown.

The pageant website made the reveal on Tuesday, saying that the beauty queen from Taguig was "every inch a pro," thanks to her past pageants.

"Katrina proved she is quick-witted during the preliminary interview round. She also showcased her veteran smarts during the all important swimsuit and evening gown preliminaries," Missosology said.

"With barely three months left before the next edition of Miss Universe, it would be wise for the organization to pick a polished representative and Katrina definitely ticks all the boxes."

Missosology said that it would be a good decision to have Katrina represent the country as she has all the qualities that a beauty queen must possess.

"With that beautiful face, improved public speaking skills, and overflowing charisma, Katrina is all set to finally wear the crown she has long deserved!"

Following Katrina on the list are Maureen Wroblewitz, Steffi Rose Aberasturi, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, and Victoria Velasquez Vincent.

The list was decided by Missosology's panel of experts and correspondents, who based their decision on the recently concluded national costume, interview, swimsuit, and evening gown preliminaries.

Earlier this month, Katrina also placed first in the second round of hot picks after placing seventh.

Aside from the main title of Miss Universe Philippines, Miss Universe Philippines Tourism and Miss Universe Philippines Charity will also be named on the coronation night.

The coronation will be on Thursday in Panglao, Bohol. It will be aired on GMA-7 on October 3.
