Jackson Wang drops new single 'Slow' featuring Ciara
Jackson Wang just released his new single “Slow” with Grammy Award-winning artist Ciara.
The singers joined forces to showcase their unique talents and electrifying chemistry in this evocative and soul-stirring track, which blends their signature styles seamlessly with its raw emotion and undeniable groove.
"Slow" was co-written by Jackson and produced by Grammy winners DVLP (Eminem, J Balvin, Skrillex), Luyo, and Tristian Hoogland (Joji, James Blake, Flume).
Jackson has been a long-time admirer of R&B icon Ciara.
“Collaborating with Ciara was like catching lightning in a bottle," he said. "Her energy, passion, and creativity elevated this track to new heights, and her unwavering commitment to excellence inspired us to create something truly magical.”
Meanwhile, Ciara said she wanted to be a part of the track since she heard it.
"I loved the melodies and the catchiness of the song," she said. "Jackson’s voice and his energy are infectious, and I am excited to be part of his incredible journey!”
Last weekend, Jackson made history at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as the first Chinese solo artist to perform. Ciara joined him for a surprise performance of “Slow.”
Jackson released the album “MAGICMAN” last year, in which he bared his honest self. It holds Jackson’s previously released singles “Blow,” “Cruel,” and “Come Alive.” He is currently on a world tour in support of the album.
He was last in Manila as one of the headliners of the Head in the Clouds Music Festival. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
