Inka Magnaye teaches everyone how to say her name
Inka Magnaye had to teach people how to say her name because apparently, some are getting it hilariously wrong!
In an Instagram video, the professional voice over addressed a commenter who thought her last name is pronounced as "Mag-ney" and not "Mag-na-ye."
Inka said people probably made the mistake because of how often she speaks English. Nevertheless, she found it funny and sweet.
She also corrected people who pronounce her first name as "In-ka" like how it is spelled.
"You have to pronounce it like ink, like pen and ink," she said.
In the caption, Inka also said some people call her "Mabuhay"—the first line of the Philippine Airlines in-flight instructions that she is famous for voicing.
"My name is also not Mabuhay. What I hear sometimes when I walk through the mall: 'Uy si Mabuhay!'" she said.
Inka is among the voice cast of the Philippine release of the DC film "Blue Beetle." She also voiced Good Boy's AI in "Start-Up PH."
Also a TikTok personality, Inka frequently collaborates with fellow content creator Justine Luzares on fun skits and reenactments of famous spiels and videos.
She also has an ASMR podcast called "Sleeping Pill With Inka."
