Olivia Rodrigo hints at Philippines stop for 'GUTS' Tour

Is Olivia Rodrigo coming to the Philippines for a concert?

The Filipina-American singer hinted during her interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast that she will have a show in the Philippines for her GUTS World Tour.

The tour starts in the US and Europe in February 2024, and Olivia said she is “so stoked” to play in arenas and stadiums for the first time.

“I think it’s going to be so much fun to play those kinds of rock songs in an arena too. I’m so excited to feel that energy,” she said.

Aside from that, Olivia is also looking forward to visiting new places, including the Philippines.

“I’m so excited to go places that I haven’t been before. I’m really excited to go to the Philippines — I’ve never been — so that’s going to be fun,” she said.

The singer-songwriter also gushed about how much she loves her band.

“I have an all-girl band, and they’re so wonderful and such great musicians. It’s going to be fun,” she said.

Olivia previously said that she “plans on touring in the Philippines soon.”

The singer released her sophomore album “GUTS” on September 8. It includes the singles “vampire,” “bad idea right?” and “get him back!” She also released a song for the film, “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” called “Can’t Catch Me Now.”

Olivia’s debut album “SOUR” became a top hit with songs like “drivers license” and “good 4 u.” She won three Grammys for it in 2022 and went on her first tour in support of the album. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
