Miss Universe PH Tourism 2021 Katrina Dimaranan finishes nursing program in US
Katrina Dimaranan has recently completed her nursing program in the United States. Even on her graduation day, she proudly showcased her Filipino roots.
On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2021 shared photos from her graduation day, topping off her graduation gown with a Philippine sash.
She also decorated her graduation cap with a golden crown and flower details.
In the caption, Katrina said that she was accepted into the nursing program on the day she returned to the US after competing in Miss Universe Philippines.
“And from there I always said it was never too late to start and achieve a new goal or dream,” she said.
“With the endless support of my man, my family and my incredible classmates (and certain professors), all I can say is, WE DID IT!” Katrina added.
She is now gearing up for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses to be an official registered nurse.
“Thanks for all your sweet messages and motivation the last 2 years. And to those who has also been inspired by my journey, you got this! Don’t give up!” Katrina said. “What’s next mga bes?!”
Katrina took the course at a community college in Cypress, California.
In 2022, she announced the end of her decade-long pageant journey.
Two months after this announcement, Katrina, along with her partner Robby Rodriguez, moved into their new home.
