Ysabel Ortega posts throwback photo of herself in the kitchen after launching own bakeshop
Dreams do come true, and Ysabel Ortega is living proof of that.
On Instagram, the "Firefly" star posted a throwback photo of her younger self wearing a cute pink Hello Kitty apron in the kitchen. In front of her were a couple of homemade pastries and a chocolate cake.
"Hello you, you wouldn't believe me when I tell you where you'll be in 18 years," the Kapuso actress wrote in the caption with a red heart emoji.
Ysabel achieved one of her childhood dreams by opening the bakeshop Maria Ysabel's Cakes and Pastries, which she shares with her mom, Michelle Ortega.
Just in time for the Holidays, the newly opened bakeshop, located inside Isidora Hills Subdivision in Quezon City's Barangay Holy Spirit, offers sumptuous cakes and pastries perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
Aside from the bakeshop, Ysabel is also a part-owner of a Nailanda branch in Tomas Morato, which she shares with fellow Kapuso stars Elle Villanueva and Sophia Senoron.
Ysabel and Miguel Tanfelix are set to star in "Firefly," a coming-of-age road trip drama about a young boy who searches for the mythical island described in his mother's bedtime stories. It is an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
The film, directed by Zig Dulay, is set to hit the Philippine cinemas on Christmas Day.
