'Gabi ng Lagim,' 'Samahan ng Mga Makasalanan,' 'Quezon' and more to stream on Prime Video
Five popular Filipino films will be heading to Prime Video soon, the streaming platform said in Makati on Tuesday.
"Samahan ng Mga Makasalanan," "Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie," "Quezon," “Bar Boys: After School,” and “Open Endings” are all headed to Prime Video, though no streaming date was revealed.
“Samahan ng Mga Kasalanan” stars David Licauco as a young deacon named Sam, who is assigned to a town of sinners. He gathers them together to help them redeem themselves.
“Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie” is composed of three standalone yet linked stories “Pocong,” “Berbalang," and "Sanib" that explore the many themes of fear, from ancient folklore to personal demons.

The chilling anthology based on "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" reminds viewers that evil can exist everywhere, from mythical monsters to unresolved mysteries.
“Quezon” follows the journey of lawyer and soldier turned Philippine president Manuel L. Quezon. The epic historical drama focuses on the president’s role in the Philippines’ struggle for independence from the United States. It also showcases Quezon’s leadership during the Commonwealth era.
“Bar Boys: After School” is set 10 years after the events of the first film. Atty. Erik Vicencio (Carlo Aquino), Atty. Torran Garcia (Rocco Nacino), Atty. Christian Carlson (Enzo Pineda), and Joshua Zuniga (Kean Cipriano) navigate new organizations and relationships.
Finally, “Open Endings” is a sapphic film that first premiered at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival in 2025. It follows four queer women—played by Klea Pineda, Janella Salvador, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Leanne Mamonong—who are exes turned best friends. They navigate love, sex, and chosen families.
At the Prime Video event, a new series starring Marian Rivera was announced, as well as a new collaboration among GMA, ABS-CBN, and Prime starring Barbie Forteza, Khalil Ramos, Sharon Cuneta, and John Estrada. — LA, GMA News
