Shakira, Burna Boy release World Cup 2026 song 'Dai Dai'

Shakira is back with a new World Cup song!

The Colombian singer on Thursday released her FIFA World Cup 2026 song “Dai Dai,” featuring Nigerian singer Burna Boy.

Shakira previously teased “Dai Dai” in a social media post by sharing a video of herself at Brazil's Maracana stadium.

In the footage, the singer appears alongside a group of dancers dressed in the colors of several of the national teams taking part in the tournament, which will be held from June 11 to July 19 in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

“Dai Dai” is Shakira's fourth song to be featured in the FIFA World Cup.

The Latin pop star had previously performed the official song for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa titled "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)."

She also performed her hits "Hips Don't Lie" and "La La La (Brazil 2014)" during the ceremonies at the 2006 World Cup in Germany and the 2014 tournament in Brazil respectively.

She is set to headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final halftime show on July 19 at the New York/New Jersey Stadium with BTS and Madonna. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA News
