Japan's Animate is asking Pinoy anime fans what they want to see in first PH store

Pinoy anime fans, this is your chance to be heard!

Anime retailer Animate Manila is inviting Filipino fans to help shape the offerings of its highly anticipated first store in the country through a customer feedback survey.

In a social media post, Animate Manila called on anime enthusiasts to share their preferences and expectations for the upcoming branch, asking fans what products, services, and experiences they would like to see when the store officially opens.

“Mabuhay! We want to hear from YOU. Tell us about yourself and what you want to see at Animate Manila! Your feedback will help us shape our very 1st store in the Philippines,” the company said.

The survey is part of the retailer’s efforts to better understand the local anime community as it prepares to establish its first presence in the Philippine market.

Fans are encouraged to provide insights into their interests, favorite anime franchises, shopping habits, and merchandise preferences.

While Animate Manila said they can't guarantee every requested item or title will be in stock at launch, the store promised to do their “absolute best” to bring the fan favorites to Manila.

The survey will run until June 14.

Animate Manila is set to open its first store in the Philippines, which will launch at One Ayala Mall in Makati City "soon."

Animate is a Japanese store chain that sells anime, manga, and pop culture merchandise, including figures, books, apparel, and collectibles.

It is popular for offering both mainstream and exclusive limited-edition items, and has branches in Japan and several other countries such as the United States, China, and South Korea among others.
